Keytrunk Product Line Product Environmental Compliance

Kallastra is actively pursuing compliance towards the European directives for Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). The European directive for Restriction of Hazardous Substances 2002/95/EC identifies substance restrictions for products sold into the European union. Kallastra’s target in support of the RoHS directive is to provide compliant Keytrunk products by May 1st, 2007.

The following substance restrictions identified by this directive apply to all Keytrunk products:

• Restriction of lead of 0.01% by weight or 1000 ppm in homogenous material

• Restriction of cadmium of 0.01% by weight or 100 ppm in homogenous material

• Restrictions of mercury of 0.1% by weight or 1000 ppm in homogenous material

• Restrictions of hexavalent chromium of 0.1% by weight or 1000 ppm in homogenous material

• Restrictions of PBDE of 0.1% by weight or 1000 ppm in homogenous material

The product list below identifies the expected RoHS ship dates for the Keytrunk products.
